IronArch Achieves CMMI Maturity Level 3 Ratings in Services, Development, and Supplier Management

June 24, 2026

Arlington, VA (June 22, 2026)  IronArch today announced the successful completion of its latest Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) appraisal, resulting in Maturity Level 3 (Defined) ratings in the Services (CMMI-SVC), Development (CMMI-DEV), and Supplier Management (CMMI-SPM) domains. The appraisal was performed by the CMMI® Institute Appraisal Team.

This marks IronArch's third CMMI Maturity Level 3 appraisal for Services, second Maturity Level 3 appraisal for Development, and first appraisal in the Supplier Management domain, demonstrating the organization's continued commitment to process excellence and continuous improvement.

CMMI is a globally recognized framework for improving organizational capability, optimizing business performance, and aligning operations with strategic objectives. Organizations appraised at Maturity Level 3 have established, documented, and consistently applied processes that enable predictable performance and ongoing improvement.

Each CMMI domain evaluates evidence across approximately 22 practice areas that measure an organization's ability to effectively plan, manage, deliver, and improve its work.

IronArch's appraisals encompass three key areas:

  • CMMI-DEV (Development): Focuses on the product lifecycle, including conception, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • CMMI-SVC (Services): Focuses on establishing, managing, and delivering high-quality services to end users.
  • CMMI-SPM (Supplier Management): Evaluates the processes used to assess, engage, and oversee external providers to ensure services and solutions continue to meet quality, schedule, and business objectives.

An appraisal at
Maturity Level 3 (Defined) indicates that organizational processes are well characterized, understood, documented, and consistently applied across projects and teams. These processes are supported by organizational standards, procedures, tools, and methods that enable continuous learning and performance improvement.

For IronArch's customers and partners, this recertification demonstrates that the company:

  • Continues to use organizational standards and tailored processes to meet unique project requirements.
  • Leverages and contributes to organizational knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices.
  • Focuses on achieving measurable project and organizational performance objectives.
  • Maintains a culture of continuous improvement and quality delivery.

This achievement reflects the ongoing dedication of IronArch employees and reinforces the company's commitment to delivering reliable, scalable, and mission-focused solutions for federal agencies.

"Achieving CMMI Maturity Level 3 once is an accomplishment; sustaining it across multiple appraisal cycles while expanding into additional domains demonstrates the strength of our culture, processes, and people," said Meghan Foley, Vice President of Delivery at IronArch"These appraisals validate our commitment to continuous improvement and our ability to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes for our customers and partners."
