Through this new award, we will continue enhancing the Ask VA platform’s frontend and backend systems, improving Veteran and agent experiences, and strengthening integration with VA’s digital support ecosystem and enterprise CRM capabilities.
A new addition to this effort is the role of Conversational AI Specialist, expanding Ask VA’s capabilities with cutting-edge AI solutions. This specialist will bridge the gap between human-centered design and machine learning, with goals of reducing burden, personalizing support, and managing risk around AI accuracy. Core software engineering responsibilities will include AI human handoff logic, chatbot dialog flows with interactive decision trees, personalized user journeys, and ethical AI practices.
