This marks our ninth Best Places to Work award. For us, this recognition isn’t just about another trophy on the shelf. Just the opposite: we’re humbled by it. It’s about the culture our employees say is “engaging,” “people-first,” and “authentic.” And year after year, it’s our people who drive that culture forward.
“What makes this honor especially meaningful is that it’s based entirely on candid, anonymous feedback from our employees,” says our Director of Employee Experience and Culture, Zeljana Manojlovic. “There’s no script, no filter – just honest insights about what it’s like to be an IronArcher. That kind of feedback is what we value most, and it’s what guides us as the company evolves.”
IronArch’s strength lies in its consistency, not just in policies or benefits, but in the way we show up for each other. As one team member shared, they’ve “never wanted to leave, even during a tough assignment,” because the company is “just that good at what they do.” Government contracting is a challenging market to work in, no matter your role. That kind of loyalty doesn’t come from perks alone; it comes from the trust we’ve earned, the sense of purpose that’s rooted in our mission, and a feeling of belonging.
That tone is set from the top. Employees describe our leadership, especially CEO Joe Punaro, as “humble,” “accessible,” and “the kind of leader who actually walks the walk.” At IronArch, leadership isn’t about hierarchy – it’s about bringing a people-first mentality to everything we do and treating people fairly. We create space for people to develop professionally, make a difference through meaningful work, and become leaders.
We also heard how much the little things matter. Whether it’s a hand-signed birthday card or a thoughtful note on a work anniversary, these gestures send a clear message: you are seen and appreciated. One employee summed it up best: “IronArch doesn’t just say they care – they show it in the details.”
After nine wins, we’ve learned that creating a best place to work isn’t a one-time achievement; – it’s a sustained effort built on trust, gratitude, and real connection.
“I’m grateful to our team. They’re the reason we continue to earn this honor, and the reason IronArch keeps getting better as we grow,” says Joe.
